Prerequisites
- A Mistral Le Chat account
- A VexiData account with at least one connected database
Connect Mistral Le Chat to VexiData
Copy your MCP Server URL
Your MCP Server URL is:You can also find this in Settings > AI Integrations in your VexiData AI Integrations page.
Add VexiData as a connector in Le Chat
- Go to chat.mistral.ai/settings/connectors
- Click Add Connector or Add MCP Server
- Paste your VexiData MCP Server URL
- Click Connect
Authorize the connection
Le Chat will redirect you to VexiData to authorize access. Review the requested permissions and click Approve.You’ll be redirected back to Le Chat once the connection is established.
Start querying your data
In any Le Chat conversation, you can now ask questions about your databases. For example:
- “List all customers who made a purchase this month”
- “What’s the total revenue by region?”
- “Show me the top 5 most viewed pages”
Managing your connection
You can view and manage your Le Chat connection from Settings > AI Integrations in VexiData. From there you can:- See when the connection was established
- Disconnect Le Chat by clicking Disconnect

- MCP connectors may require a paid Mistral plan depending on your region and account type
- Ensure you’re on chat.mistral.ai, not the Mistral API platform

- Verify you have at least one database connected in VexiData under Data Sources
- Check that your database connection is active (the schema should be analyzed)
- Try being specific about which database or table you’re asking about
