Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a code from an authenticator app in addition to your password.

Enabling 2FA

1

Open security settings

2

Enable two-factor authentication

Click Enable in the two-factor authentication section. You’ll be asked to confirm your password.
3

Scan the QR code

Open your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) and scan the QR code displayed on screen.
4

Enter the verification code

Type the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.
5

Save your recovery codes

VexiData will display a set of recovery codes. Save these in a secure place — they’re the only way to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
Each recovery code can only be used once. Store them somewhere safe like a password manager.

Disabling 2FA

Go to Settings > Security and click Disable in the two-factor authentication section. You’ll need to confirm your password.

Lost your authenticator?

If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app, use one of your recovery codes to log in. After logging in, you can disable and re-enable 2FA to set up a new device.
