Two-Factor Authentication

Add an extra layer of security with 2FA using an authenticator app.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) requires a code from your phone in addition to your password, making your account much more secure.

Enabling 2FA#

You'll need

  • An authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)

Go to Security settings

Navigate to Settings > Security.

Enable 2FA

Click Enable in the Two-Factor Authentication section.

Scan QR code

Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code shown.

Enter code

Type the 6-digit code from your app to verify setup.

Save backup codes

Download or copy your backup codes and store them safely.

Save your backup codes

Backup codes are the only way to access your account if you lose your phone. Store them securely.

Disabling 2FA#

Go to Settings > Security and click Disable next to Two-Factor Authentication. You'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app to confirm.
