# Folders

> Organize your dashboards into folders.

Folders let you organize your dashboards into groups. Use them to separate dashboards by project, team, or topic.

## Creating a folder

1. In the sidebar, click the **+** icon next to **Dashboards**
2. Enter a folder name
3. Click **Create**

## Moving dashboards

Drag and drop dashboards into folders from the sidebar, or use the dashboard menu to move it to a different folder.

## Managing folders

Right-click a folder in the sidebar to rename or delete it. Deleting a folder moves its dashboards back to the root level — they are not deleted.
